WebLink

WebLink is exactly as it sounds, a Web front end to ScanLink to enable users to use ScanLink across the internet.

 

However it can be customized to suite the individual company requirements, either by having their own front end with company logo and standards etc., or by being design for specific process.

 

Examples of processes already produced are:

 

· A company wide expenses system to enable remote workers to enter their expense from home. The receipts are either scanned by the remote user or sent to head office to be scanned and attached by the user later. The system is customized so that when the user submits their expenses they go directly to the manger responsible for their expenses. This can of course required several sign offs depending on predetermined levels like expense total.  Expenses can also be rejected and returned to the sender to be amended. Reports on all aspects of who claims what and for what nominal code etc are then available. All of this is controlled and managed by the user after initial installation so no further onsite support should be required.

 

· A company wide purchase invoice approval system for a company with several depots around the country. They scan the incoming invoices at a central accounts site, and the accounts clerks add the site reference to the index and input into the system. The site reference determines which manager approves/rejects the payment of the invoice. The central accounts clerks can find where all outstanding payments are in the system by doing a quick search on the invoice. On completion of payment the index is then exported and imported back into Sage to update the company accounting system.
