Auto Indexing |

With auto indexing you get exactly the same functionality as ScanLink except when it comes to entering the index on the document. Here when you select the document the index is extracted and inserted into the fields as the image is displayed.
You can then have the chance to amend any OCR errors before saving the document. There is an option to index only the first page in a batch, used on multiple page documents, or every page in the batch. The user has the means to switch between the two.
The indexing could also be run completely automatically without displaying the index extracted. The system will place error indicators into a specified field if index errors appear. The user can then check the run later and manually correct if required.
ScanLink achieves this buy having an ABBYY FineReader front end which extracts indexes based on ABBYY FormReader templates. These have to be created from the users documents before auto indexing can take place.
As DataImage Software Ltd are approved ABBYY resellers and have completed the ABBYY FormReader training they have the ability to create the templates for you, or sell you the software for you to complete yourself with training provided to show you how.
ABBYY FineReader can support up to 99 different templates in any one batch, so you can have up to 99 different document types in any single batch run. For more you simple split as the scanning level and choose another batch when archiving.
